Rhinoplasty Services

There are many reasons why a nose job is done, not just aesthetically. The most common reasons why people opt for a nose job are because they think their noses are either too big or too small for their faces. It’s true that with a talented rhinoplasty surgeon, you can have a perfectly proportional face.
There are two basic types of rhinoplasty, the open procedure and the closed procedure. The open procedure is the one more rhinoplasty surgeons are used to doing. This process involves cutting the cartilage that separates the nostrils and lifting the skin up so the surgeon can see better what he’s going to do. While this is easier for a surgeon to do, it may leave the patients a permanent scar in the cartilage which was cut.
On the other hand, the more complex closed procedure works similarly as an open procedure, the only difference being is that throughout the whole procedure, the skin of the nose stays intact, and the nose bridge is pulled out from the nose for the surgeon to modify instead of pulling the skin upwards to expose it.
It takes a more experienced surgeon to perform the latter one because it takes precision and talent to be able to maneuver this procedure so as to not leave any scars on the patient. To discuss your available options, you have to talk with your surgeon about it.
